How beautiful is this mod-esque dress?! I just love the bold lines and silhouette! Last semester, in a design class, one of our first projects was to choose a subculture and translate the attitudes and style of the culture into a modern day collection. I chose the computer hackers subculture but now that I think about it, it would be really interesting a design a collection based on the styles of that time. Maybe I'll try it out sometime! :)

On Tuesday I got all my wisdom teeth removed. They weren't bothering me and were actually coming in straight; but my parents, dentist and I thought it'd be easier just to remove them now. The extraction was easy so I wasn't really puffy or in pain. But it was definitely not fun being stuck on only eating soft foods and smoothies (which I really don't like...sorry smoothie lovers :P). I did manage to eat pizza today, though having to fight the urge to just scarf it down instead of taking small bites. 

I started an online class this week as well. I'm taking a course on the cultural study of jewelry and adornment. Right now, I'm learning about Mesopotamian and Egyptian culture and it all just makes me think 'I have learned this like 3 or 4 times now' *sigh* Hopefully the focus on jewelry and adornment will arrive soon!

Also, the lovely people at Iconemesis sent me this beautiful phone case! :) Before I just had a plain black case...I know, very boring. I love the artistic quality of the graphic design on the phone case!

I am absolutely loving midi rings and thin bands! But I have the tiniest hands and the tiniest fingers so finding midi rings to fit me is extremely difficult. I finally found some teeny tiny ones on Shop Lately though! :D The one on my pinky is actually a size 0. I didn't know sizes that small existed!
Now I just need to find bracelets small enough to fit my puny wrists! :P

This outfit remind me of referees...or an adidas ad :P I bought this skirt a long long time ago, like winter break, I think? I wasn't really sure how to style it but when I was looking through my drawers, I rediscovered this top and the rest is history!

Its the start of July and I'm starting to panic that summer is almost over. In reality theres about a month and a half left, but in my mind, it feels like just a few weeks. But yea I'll just stop now...no need bring up school :P How was everyone's 4th of July weekend??
