I'm back at school and ready to tackle this last year and my senior thesis! I moved into my dorm on Friday and I couldn't stop thinking about how glad I am this is the last time I have to pack and unpack all my stuff in such a short period of time. I am definitely ready to be done with moving in and out of dorms every year! I'm still getting settled in and prepping for all my classes so don't mind these pics that were taken last week at home. I have a couple outfits that I shot at home in anticipation for the the first week of school but hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things soon. I'll be starting my senior thesis right away so I'm hoping to heavily document the process and share with you guys each week what point I'm at. In the past I have only created 1-3 looks for my final but for my thesis I'll be creating a whole collection, minimum of 6 looks but my goal is 10. So there will definitely be a lot to share; and hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a kick-ass collection (emphasis on the kick-ass because my inspiration may have something to do with fighting *wink wink*) that will make it into the senior fashion show. And that's the quick sum up of this year...it'll definitely be a journey and I'm super excited that you guys will be able to ride along with me :)

Moving back to school at the end of this week...these last few weeks of summer went by too quickly :( I guess I'll recap the last two weeks since I got a bit distracted and this post just ended up on the back burner for a while haha. Let's see...well my friend and I camped outside Central Park at 2am and stood in pouring rain and thunder to see One Direction on Good Morning America, then went to their concert the next day, went through concert withdraw for a few days, went to the beach and sadly did not get the tan that I've been talking about getting all summer, went hiking for the first time ever and realized I'm not cut out for hiking haha, and lastly received an email from my thesis professor telling us how excited he is to see all the work we've done over the summer which has basically resulted in me scrambling to put some work together these last few days because I'm a slacker....the end, recap over.

Also, as you guys have obviously noticed, I've been trying out this collaging/layouts thing more in my recent posts. I don't know if I have ever told you guys this but before college I was wavering between graphic and fashion design. Obviously I ended up choosing fashion design but I secretly (actually its not so much a secret haha) LOVE photoshop and have started appreciating graphic design a lot more recently. So yeah I've been thinking about the idea of making each post like an editorial spread. Of course I do slack when it comes to shooting photos since I never go on location and still use my trusty tripod and remote. But I think it would be fun to try to incorporate graphic design elements into the posts. Plus it's a good excuse for me to learn more tricks in photoshop. So I would love to hear what you guys think about this! :)
